Electronic Arts announced date and the system requirements for the open Beta Test of Star Wars Battlefront 2. Between the 6. and 9. October can be tested on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PCs, without registration. Pre-order already two days earlier. Game progress will not be accepted.
Although the hardware requirements are only based on the Beta, it can be assumed that the system requirements of the full version will at least be very similar.
More CPU performance is desired
In comparison with the predecessor, the requirements to the processor increase: Instead of a Core i3-6100T the game now requires at least a Core i5-6600K or AMD FX-6350. It is recommended instead of the Core i5, a Core i7 or AMD FX-8350, which can work eight Threads at the same time. Requirements to the processor are, however, resorted to notoriously high and reflect the actual power requirements roughly.
Otherwise, the demands on the domestic System will remain the same; you move in addition, on the same level as all the other games with EAs Frostbite-Engine – to-date middle-class Hardware should be sufficient to Play with.
EA promotes increased scope
In a more than four minute long Video the EA also provides the advantages of the second part of the Battlefront reboot. In particular, illustrates the Publisher to the increased scope of the sequel, between game scenes, graphics – the Lack of content is a major point of criticism to Star Wars: Battlefront (Test), now to be parked. In addition to more maps and Co the Shooter will have, finally, a single-player campaign. The multi-player part is now linearized, however, with game relevant micro-transactions for Monet, the effects of this are not yet able to estimate.
