PTC and L & T Technology Services Limited announce the launch of a Center for Excellence (CoE) dedicated to innovation at L & T Headquarters in Bangalore, India. Informally defined as Industry 4.0, the Industrial Excellence Center for Excellence will demonstrate what digital transformations can provide to companies around the world and propose the technologies that make these transformations possible.
LTTS will provide the CoE with the entire PTC technology offering – from product design software to industrial IoT functionality – and will support the advanced LTTS capabilities within the industrial IOT, focusing in particular on product life cycle management (ALM, Application Lifecycle Management), Life-Cycle Management (SLM) and Production Operations Management (MOM) management. Customers visiting space can touch on cutting edge technological innovations to make informed decisions about the launch of new IoT projects or further development of existing ones.

The CoE, which is expected to attract an audience of international customers, will also present new solutions for industrial IoT developed on the ThingWorx platform. Some of the major demo deployed at the CoE include twin digital models, situational awareness for plant productivity improvement through the use of the PTC ThingWorx platform and Digital PLM services, which can enhance field productivity by dynamically upgrading assistance data.
