It seems as if Google had some prominent hardware partners in the boat to help Android One to new life. After the cooperation with Xiaomi and the adapted Moto X4 is now to be read that HTC also wants to throw a phone into the ring: the “Ocean Life”.
The phone is also marketed by HTC as a regular version and come with the usual software improvements and additions in the trade. The EdgeSense, known from the U11, is also traded. The Android-One version dispenses with current information on the HTC software more or less completely, but should be equipped with the touch-sensitive frame pages and the associated features. If this is confirmed, you would have to do with a smartphone, which on the software side practically only uses the Google Suite and would thus benefit from fast and timely updates, but at the same time with EdgeSense an all-important feature in terms of hardware.
When the “Ocean Life” comes into the market is so far not known. Logic would be the reactivation of Android One in the course of the presentation of the new pixel phones. Google wants to introduce the October.
HTC Ocean_Life will be released under Android One program. It will lose most of the HTC apps and run stock Android O with Sense 9.0_A1.
