Xiaomi has unveiled the Mi Mix 2, the successor to the phone, which has shaped the current trend towards a frameless display. The new smartphone is again shrinking by a further 12 percent. At the same time, the audio quality has been taken care of – a small, but still traditional earpiece returns behind the screen. Even though the actual loudspeaker is installed in the device, the Xiaomi is now directed more towards the outside and finally penetrates through a small opening to the ear. An approximation sensor is also installed there. Space for the front camera does not remain there, of course, also with the second Mi Mix – which sits below the display.
As a processor, one has decided little surprising for the Snapdragon 835. 6 GB of RAM are installed and at least 64 GB of memory. A version with 128 GB and 256 GB is also offered. On a dual camera without the Mi Mix 2, the 12-megapixel sensor comes from Sony. On the fingerprint sensor is located on the back. The case of the smartphone is again made of ceramic, the frame of metal. The starting price is around 420 euros, but you can also opt for a special edition for around 600 euros. It is white and consists entirely of ceramics. Since European LTE tapes are also supported in the Mi Mix 2, there is nothing to prevent importing the smartphone. Officially, Xiaomi will not offer the phone here.
