RED reveals where the holographic display of his smartphone comes from

Camera manufacturer RED has announced its first smartphone for the beginning of 2018, which is in the name Hydrogen One, can be modular Modo Mods Modular extensions and obendrein with a “holographic display” – and holograms are indeed the AR boom anyway a very hot revival candidate. Now RED has at least a little bit to the 3D display, namely that this is developed in cooperation with the company Leia Inc. Leia calls itself a “leading provider of light-field holographic display solutions”, so the hologram effect is probably due to a so-called LightField display which can show different contents depending on the angle of view – a so-called wiggle-screen display – through several, layered screens and clever background lighting.
