Actually a rather unusual idea. A gaming laptop whose screen you can rotate 360 degrees. The predilection for gamers for their keyboard is already legendary. But you may not want to play, and in the breaks, some look envious at the flexible, rotating screens of the competition? The keyboard is not a drawback at the Acer Nitro 5 Spin, but rather smooth and nimble.
With a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050, the Nitro 5 Spin is very well equipped, the 15.6-inch FHD IPS touch screen makes a solid impression, 10 hours of battery life are impressive. Folded it looks like a normal, noble laptop, but open the red-lit keyboard with its specially highlighted WASD keys and the very well located full numeric pad. Surprise!
The stereo loudspeaker is huge and you even got an additional subwoofer, which you could hear even at the IFA. The Intel Core i5 and i7 processors were naturally expected, but are still the 8th generation and are to bring 40% more power over the last year. The hard drive is, of course, an SSD (512GB). There is MU-MIMO soft for extremely fast connection, a BlueLight shield for the screen, DolbyAudio, an amplifier that can be adjusted to the ambient noise and also reacts to the rotation of the screen with the correct change of the stereo channels. Everything very comfortable and thought out for a device that could be described as the first in its class.
The price will start at 1.199 € and from October the Nitro 5 Spin laptop will be available. Acer emphasizes, however, that it is for the casual gamers, at Acer with their Predator madness, however, this means something different from most companies.
