Top-selling gaming monsters: Acer Predator Orion 9000

If there was a monster at the start of the IFA, then it was the Acer Predator Orion 9000. A gaming desktop with the look of a small futuristic sports car. In the past years, Acer has turned around in the field of gaming in such a way that their will concentrates on the whole.

The Predator Orion 9000 looks like a gaming desktop that a game designer would design. Seen from three sides, decorated with a lattice (which is supposed to obscure the electromagnetic interference), it is the dream of every gaming DIY freak. Endlessly expandable, endlessly configurable. It’s because Acer has right, the most powerful PC they’ve ever created, it’s also the most configurable.

This is where Liquid Cooling meets an IceTunnel 2.0 so that the whole does not dissolve in a heat wave. The former is well known by Acer and the cooling of the CPU, the second gives you the possibility to configure the fans themselves, and yet they have in the end specific areas that keep them cool.

Four graphics cards (Radeon RX Vega, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti) can be used. You can use 128GB of memory, as they are based on an Intel Core i9 Extreme Edition with 18 cores.

With connections you are almost tossed and yes, here are synonymous still four PCIe x16 Slots, if one may use more video cards. Did we mention that he also has wheels for the towing on LAN parties? Next time we expect a kind of robot chassis! Or that programmable LEDs, programmable in millions of colors, are distributed everywhere in the housing?

In the basic configuration, the monster (about the size of a shepherd dog) is between 2,000 and 3,000 euros, upside probably only the fantasy a real limit.
