Thanks to the WhatsApp FAQ page, we showed you yesterday the badge that should accompany verified business accounts on WhatsApp, which are being tested with a selected number of partners. Once again, @WABetaInfo, one of the most trusted leaker regarding the well-known messaging app, we can show you how business chat should be, verified or not.
Communications will take place via the classic chat that we already know, in which yellow messages will be visible, similar to the one displayed after the introduction of encryption in the chat. You will then be able to know if we are conversing with a business account verified by WhatsApp or with an unverified account. In addition to the yellow note, verified accounts will have the badge with green check mark.
Users will receive a notification and a new message if the business account lost this status, registering again as a standard account. You will also be able to view a detailed business card, including the ability to mute or use personalized notifications.
Business activities can also set working hours, out of which they can send a message that reminds the user of the opening hours. You can also set up automated messages that could answer common or common questions. There is currently no public version of WhatsApp’s version of small and medium-sized companies, but the debut should not be far away.
