No brand escapes the leaks of images of smartphones, not even Sony. The Xperia XZ1, to be announced next week at IFA 2017, has indeed appeared on the web with beautiful promotional images.
Here is what the Xperia XZ1, the new high-end smartphone from Sony will look like for next school year. These images, probably derived from a commercial site, are currently the best representation that one can have of the telephone. And the least we can say is that Sony did not seek (once again) originality.
It’s simple, the Xperia XZ1 will take point by point virtually all the design elements of the range Xperia XZ, released last year. It’s a smartphone with big screen borders, a fingerprint sensor on the Power button and a 5.2-inch screen. It is only if Sony has moved some sensors intended for the photo on the shell of the device. We will have to wait to take the phone in hand to note the few subtle changes that will differentiate the two smartphones.
Two new smartphones scheduled for re-entry
This year, Sony is expected to present two new smartphones to the IFA. New, certainly, but not surprising. This is, according to the first rumors, the Xperia XZ1 but also an XZ1 Compact (the latest?). Both devices should benefit from a high-end datasheet. This is called a Snapdragon 835, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. As for the camera, it would be the same as the Xperia XZ Premium (our test), a Motion Eye photo sensor capable of producing Super Slow Motion videos at 960 ips.
Latest information on these two smartphones: they will not be given. The Xperia XZ1 would thus be sold 599 pounds in the UK and the Xperia XZ1 Compact 499 pounds. Once they have crossed the sleeve, it will surely be expected prices close to 700 and 600 euros each.
Answer next week, since Sony will hold a press conference scheduled for 31 August at IFA 2017.
