Android O now has an official name: Android 8.0 Oreo

So, it’s done, Google finally comes to officialize the name of Android O. And no great surprise, Google chose the facility by naming it Oreo.

And the moons here hid the sun (white) from the cake. This is especially the second time that Google used a cookie brand to name one of its OS. The previewed Android 4.4 KitKat.

For the moment it is not yet known its release date, but in all likelihood, this new version should arrive on the smartphones of Google (Pixel, Nexus 6P and 5x) in the coming hours.
