Documentary: German computer game history today on ZDFinfo

The broadcaster ZDFinfo is broadcasting the documentary “Was spielt Deutschland? Moorhens, settlers and planners “. In this author author Christian Schiffer meets pioneers of the genre, game lovers and programmers – including well-known greats like Smudo from the “Fantastic Four”.

Also illuminated are faces behind the games, including Frank Ziemlinski, who is the head behind one of the greatest successes of German computer game history: Moorhuhn. But also Kai Foerst comes in the 45-minute retrospect, which holds the first German computer game patent from the year 1975.

Available from 10:00 am online
