Now available: OxygenOS 4.1.7 for OnePlus 3 (T) with August patch

OnePlus follows the announcement about one and a half weeks ago and distributes a new update for the models OnePlus 3 and 3T (Test). The update mainly introduces bug fixes and the security patch from August.

Other enhancements for the smartphones include optimizations of Bluetooth functionality and the battery as well as a smoother operation. The bugs that are fixed include problems with the sound channel during video recording, as well as the automatic activation of the loudspeaker for calls initiated by a third-party app. Google will also remove Google Hangouts from the phone if the app has not been updated once through the Play Store.

The complete OnePlus Changelog:

  • Sound channel error while recording videos
  • Call is routed to speaker accidently by some 3rd party apps
  • Screen is turned on
  • Rendering issue in Indian Kannada language
  • App loose issue caused by some 3rd party apps
  • As requested by Google, Hangouts will be removed if you have never updated it on Play Store. To keep hangouts, please update it prior to the upgrade
