HTC Vive: VR glasses will be cheaper

HTC Vive is cheaper – HTC has lowered the price of the in-house VR glasses and designed this more customer-friendly. The measure aims to make the product more attractive and accessible to a broader target group.

The VR-goggles HTC Vive, introduced in the spring, are now available at a lower price. As HTC announced, the price was adjusted downwards, the device should be made accessible to a broader target group. The UVP price of VR glasses was 899 euros.

From now on the HTC Vive is available for 699 euros UVP. The price is valid worldwide. In addition to the favorable price, HTC is offering all buyers a free test subscription for Viveport, with which five VR titles can be tested free of charge per month. Including Google’s Tilt Brush, Everest VR and Richie’s Plank Experience.

 

VR glasses should become more attractive

The basic kit of the VR glasses contains two base stations for precise tracking, two motion controllers for immersive VR experiences as well as new and improved connection cables. A total of 3,600 titles are available via Steam and Viveport, others are in the starting holes. Including Fallout®4 and Doom®VFR.
