Smart is not safe, so much should be clear at the moment, but smart uncertainty is generally more entertaining than traditional uncertainty. The LockState company produces smart locks, which are recommended by AirBnb, among other things, because they can be so remote. At least in principle, because now LockState has succeeded with a faulty update, the smart locks of the 6000i series look really stupid. A bug in the update prevents that the things connect with the LockState server, thus they also lose most smart functions. And without a server connection: there is also no automatic bug fix, the affected locks must rather be exchanged or repaired for repair.
