A new report on smartphone sales comes from the Strategy Analytics team. In the second quarter of 2017, Apple was among the latest generation of Apple mobile phones to win triumph.
The best-selling smartphone in the era was iPhone 7 (with 16.9 million marketed models and a market share of 4.7%), followed by iPhone 7 Plus (with 15.5 million devices sold and A market share of 4.2%).
Impressive numbers are those recorded by the Cupertino giant that silence those who for months keep repeating that Apple is now in crisis.
At the third place in the best-selling smartphone rankings in the second quarter of 2017, Samsung Galaxy S8 (10.2 million models and a market share of 2.8%), followed by the fourth by Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus (9 million Device and a market share of 2.5%).
Finally, we find a Chinese smartphone: we are talking about the Xiaomi Redmi 4A, able to sell 5.5 million models in the second quarter of this year, with a market share of 1.5%.
