In September 2015, Telekom replaced the Xtra prepaid rates, which had been used for many years, through the new MagentaMobil Start offer. In addition to the new name, the company also made other changes and offered the prepaidofferten only with a monthly basic fee.

With the update of the MagentaMobil launch offer on July 11, 2017, Telekom apparently took a new tariff into the product range, which can be booked again without monthly fixed costs. As can be seen from the current price list, the MagentaMobil Start Basic can be purchased for a single 9.95 Euro and is then passed as a classic 9 cent tariff.
