Without discount the top sellers in the Steam Sale and also the most played game of the platform: PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is currently very popular. The MMO shooter with its decisive game principle Battle Royale is soon to receive two new cards. From the Wüsten-Map there are now first screenshots to be seen.
Brendan Greene alias PlayerUnkown has spread the material on Twitter. You can see the desert landscape with cacti and decayed buildings. A railway track and a bicycle can be used to speculate as to whether there will be new opportunities for the movement.
I’m at our new @ PUBATTLEGROUNDS office in Madison today. The team is working on our desert map. Here’s a WIP preview of this new location … pic.twitter.com/ReLbsvwv9A

Two new maps in progress
Compared to GameInformer, the developers had already confirmed in May the work on two new maps. The desert map is said to have a comparatively large city in the center, in the south and east can be found a river traversed by a river. Hügellandschaft dominates the north of the 4 × 4 km large map.
The second map is missing pictures. This is 8 x 8 km as large as the current map and is to represent an island in the Adriatic Sea. With a Mediterranean coast in the south, dense forests in the north and snow-capped mountains in the center, variety is promised.
Game Mode Battle Royale provides Deathmatch dynamics
In the Bluehole developed PlayerUnknown’s Battegrounds fight up to 100 players in the game mode created by Brendan Greene Battle Royale. This is a kind of Deathmatch: Fighting is until only the last or the last team survived. By parachute the players land entirely without equipment in the combat area and must first look for weapons. The dynamics ensure that the playing area is more and more limited during the course of the round. If you are outside the randomly generated zone, you lose your life energy.
