Huawei Y7 and Y6 (2017) entry-level smartphones

There are news from Huawei to announce on the smartphone front: The two Chinese have unleashed two new devices, both of them are beginner models with correspondingly low prices. The Huawei Y6 2017 is a new edition of Huawei Y6 II compact from the year 2016, also new in the race is the Huawei Y7 with 5.5 inch large display. Both smartphones offer Huawei for under 200 euros and hopes that the price is low enough for those who want to get a smartphone quickly before vacation, without the travel fund too much to suffer. Here are the most important technical data:

Expectedly, the Y7 is the stronger of the two smartphones and in view of a price difference of only 20 euros, I would advise you to grab the Y7 if you can arrange with a screen diagonal of 5.5 inches. The Y6 comes with the smaller 5.0-inch display, but both are IPS panels and both release at 1,280 x 720 pixels.

While on the Y7 the Snapdragon 435 is on board, Huawei equips the reissue of the Y6 with the MT6737T with four cores. Both internal memory (16 GB, expandable up to 128 GB) as well as main memory (2 GB RAM) are then identical again. Also the battery is with the 5.5-inch with 4.000 mAh much larger than the 3.000 mAh, but also with the smaller model you should face the other Specs quite smoothly throughout the day, even if you use the mobile phone more often ,

According to the information, the 12 MP cam in the Y7 seems to be stronger than the 13 MP shooter in the Y6, but the latter handset also installed an LED flash in the front. Too bad that Huawei Selfie fans only 5 MP donated instead of 8 MP as with the Y7. A special gimmick can still offer the Y6 in the form of the so-called Easy Key-Button. This is a hardware button on the left, which you can use up to three different functions, for example to start the favorite apps.

We also have to complain that the Y6 only equipped with Android 6.0 and the also outdated EMUI 4.1 and also with the Bluetooth (4.0 instead of 4.1) lags behind the big brother.

Anyone who thinks that one of these two smartphones should be bought urgently before the holiday can strike on both devices later this month: The Huawei Y7 is already from middle of July 2017 to an EIA of EUR 199, – in the colors gray, silver And gold, with the Huawei Y6 2017 you have to wait until the end of July – then it is in the colors gray, gold and white to have. The Y6 2017 is available in the single SIM and a dual SIM version at an RRP of EUR 179, -. Here are some pictures of the Huawei Y7:
