If you are a solid user of the Facebook app for Android, you may have noticed an interesting novelty, which seems to be available to a wider range of users. This is the ability to zoom in on pictures with the classic pinch-to-zoom movement that we are used to using in any application.
The function is only active in News Feed, the main stream of information, but not in the images published on the pages. Previously, to zoom, it was necessary to touch the photo and open it, and only afterwards it was possible to zoom in with your fingers.
Now, instead, it’s enough to move the image in an image to enlarge it to your liking, provided you are inside a gallery. In this case, you will still have to open the image before you can enlarge it. The new feature seems to be independent of the version of the Facebook app installed, so it should be enabled on the server side and reach all users over the next few days.
Have you already received the new zoom function? Do you find it convenient and interesting or do not you feel lacking? The comments box is at your disposal.
