The Messenger WhatsApp has reached a new milestone in the number of active users. Today, one billion active users use the service daily. One billion active monthly users had reached WhatsApp in February 2016. Now there are already 1.3 billion active users in this category.
As WhatsApp also reports in a recent statistic, 55 billion messages are sent per day worldwide via the messenger. Over the platform, 4.5 billion photos and a billion videos are sent every day.
