LG has just unveiled its Q8, which is actually a European version of the V34. A smartphone that displays rather high-end features.
We recently talked about the LG Q6, a smartphone with the design of the G6 but whose hardware, including a Snapdragon 435 was much less dream.
This new Q8 comes to him more seriously the characteristics of the G6 (our test). It includes all the LG V34 released only in Japan last October. It includes a Snapdragon 820, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of UFS storage. We can therefore expect performance quite similar to the G6.
It boasts a 5.2-inch WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) slab Quantum IPS with a brightness of 400 nits. It also incorporates an additional small screen of 160 x 1040 pixels. Constantly on, it is used to display important information or notifications.
The Korean looked after the options. The Q8 is equipped with a fingerprint reader and a dual camera. The first is a 13 megapixel sensor with optical stabilization while the second (8 megapixels) offers a wide angle at 135 °.
There is also a quadruple DAC that will enjoy Hi-Fi sound and several microphones to record in Lossless audio, even in noisy places. Finally, the chassis is IP67 certified and therefore resistant to water and dust. Side battery, LG opted for a classic 3000 mAh, rechargeable USB Type-C.
It will initially arrive in Italy for 599 euros, but the rest of europe should not be long to follow.
