Galaxy Note 8: Unpacked Event on August 23rd

The 23rd August was already somewhat longer than launch date for the new Samsung Phablet Galaxy Note 8 suspects. The manufacturer has now sent invitations for an unpacked event on August 23 and obviously confirmed the date.

It is not clear from the graphics that it is the note 8, but the graphics show an Infinity-Display like the current Galaxy S8 (Plus), as well as for the note 8 provided. In addition, the S-Pen is clearly highlighted in the color blue. The S-Pen is an all-in-one feature of the Grade series.

No details yet

Samsung does not give any details about the display size or other features. The Leaker Ice Universe had published alleged press pictures from Galaxy Note 8. The picture shows three copies, which do not differ with the exception of the background image. Interesting are the visible black edges on the display edge. The screen itself is slightly curved and the case is rounded. It is assumed that Samsung as with the current Galaxy S8 (Plus) again on an “Infinity” display sets. Where exactly the fingerprint sensor is integrated, remains to date still open.

So far still pure speculation: The Galaxy Note 8 is to have a WQHD “Infinity” display with 6.3-inch (2910 x 1440 pixels). The drive will probably be the Exynos 8895 and possibly in some regions the not yet presented Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 on board, otherwise the Snapragon 835 chip will provide the drive.
