Available on the new AGCOM map of networks showing coverage in Italy

The Communications Guarantee Authority (AGCOM) has published the national map of Internet access networks: this is viewable both by PCs and mobile devices and provides detailed information on Italian coverage and infrastructures.

The map includes data covering mobile network coverage, divided into 2G, 3G and 4G, fixed network speed, fixed network coverage (ADSL, FTTC, FTTH) and fixed-to-wireless coverage (FWA) as well as providing Interesting statistics on the subject. It is possible to zoom in to see very narrow areas of our peninsula.

The broadband map is a useful tool for operators, as it provides the ability to define investment plans to bridge gaps between areas or to improve coverage in others. The map can be viewed immediately by visiting www.agcom.com/broadbandmap, also from your Android smartphone.

How is your area set up as mobile and fixed coverage? Let us know in the comments box.
