Before Codemaster’s Formula One reissue officially leaves the pit lane in the direction of the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 25, the developers are again looking for participants for the closed beta test of the racing game.
The beta test, which has already been launched in February, with 900 places to be allocated, will be postponed by a further number of beta invitations, which are not determined at this time. The registration is made via a short form on the developers’ website, where the name, e-mail address and user name in the Codemasters forum count among the mandatory details. Players who are interested in the beta test are also asked for a reason, which motivates them to participate and are bound to a confidentiality agreement in the event of a beta tester.
Codemasters promises a “deep” career mode for F1 2017, “numerous” multiplayer enhancements and a new “Championship” game mode. With the Renault R26 of 2006, which was revealed a few days ago, another icon of the F1 race also joins the official “Classic” car park of the racing game. To the E3 2017 Codemasters showed gameplay material and presented a rough overview of the most important innovations of F1 2017 at Twitch.tv.
