Just a week after the OnePlus 5, here is Honor who also announces his new flagship for France. His name is known as Honor 9, the successor of Honor 8 and a very close cousin of the Huawei P10. The phone will be launched tomorrow in the commerce in France and here is all it is necessary to know about it.
Of Honor 9, we already know almost everything. And for good reason, the new flagship of the Chinese brand was already unveiled two weeks ago, in China, on the occasion of its launch in the Middle Kingdom. From the point of view of design, it is exactly the same device that will be sold in France. Understand that this is practically the same design as the Huawei P10 except that its hull is now made of glass and not of metal.
Two colors available in France: Blue and Gray
The Honor 9 is a very thin smartphone (7.45 mm), equipped with a 5.15 inch Full HD screen, the hull of which is slightly curved on both side slices for a better grip and which this year d A 2.5D slightly curved glass on the facade. The fingerprint sensor was moved below the screen (an inheritance of the Huawei P10) but the dual photo sensor does not protrude to the rear. Good news too, the jack always responds well.
In France, unlike in China, only two colors will be put on sale at first. It is blue (identical to that of Honor 8) and gray. The golden version should probably arrive later in the year.
Only one available version: 4 GB RAM / 64 GB memory
Another change valid for France, the Honor 9 will be available in only one version: the one containing 64 GB of internal memory and 4 GB of RAM. And this, while China has an Honor 9 with 128/6 GB on its market. You see him coming the Honor 9 Plus in golden version at the end of the year?
For the rest, the data sheet is identical to that of the Chinese version. The Honor 9 always embarks on an excellent Kirin 960 who has done wonders on the benchmarks of our Honor 8 Pro. It also features a dual photo sensor that breaks down into a 20-MP black and white sensor and another sensor with a 12 MP telephoto lens.
A dual photo sensor for black and white and an optical zoom × 2
Specifically, this means that it is possible to take black and white shots, but also to achieve optical zoom up to twice thanks to the second sensor. Honor also says that his new flagship has a “hybrid zoom” × 10, a portrait mode with Bokeh effect (as on the iPhone 7 Plus) and is capable of filming in 4K.
Last but not least, the Honor 9 has a large battery of 3200 mAh that can be recharged with a fast charger.
Available from tomorrow in France at the price of …
The Honor 9 will be available tomorrow, either online or in some physical boutiques of Bouygues Telecom, Darty or Fnac. As for its price, it is slightly higher than the Honor 8 since it is sold in France 429 euros (449 euros in the rest of Europe), but with an ODR 30 euros for fans of the brand, either 399 euros!
