The brand Marseillaise Wiko continues its little good way over the years. While she still has this reputation making smartphones entry-level or even cheap, she wants to make a difference by presenting her two new smartphones: The WIM and the WIM Lite. Smartphones with features really interesting for their price range.
Wiko wants to spend the second
The Wiko WIM presents a rather interesting technical sheet for a price of 400 €. It is equipped with a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 626 processor, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB memory and a 3200 mAh battery. The whole runs on Android 7.1 and offers a dual photo sensor.
A double photo sensor now almost mandatory on the flagships. Here, Wiko brings us a dual 13 megapixel Sony sensor, monochrome and color with Qualcomm Clearsight techno and capable of filming in 4K.
This smartphone that becomes the new standard of Wiko also bets on its design. The fingerprint sensor, also almost mandatory, comes nestled under the AMOLED screen, which itself comes to be coiled in a polycarbonate (plastic) shell with a very chic look. Only regret after a few minutes of grip, this shell easily catches the fingerprints and we found a slight play on the hood, in addition to the lack of USB Type-C. If Wiko continues to make serious efforts to get to the level of competition in this area, there are still some small details to be settled.
A very interesting Lite
In addition to WIM, Wiko has unveiled the Wikimedia WIM Lite, which is, as the name suggests, a light version of WIM. We find a “simple” IPS LCD screen of 5 inches full HDD, a Snapdragon 435, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of memory and a unique 13-megapixel camera at the back.
Note that this version has a fingerprint sensor at the back and will have a beautiful red color. Note also that the smartphone has the same defects as the WIM at the design level.
