The company announced Tamron lens 18-400mm F3.5-6.3 Di II VC HLD, designed for use with SLR cameras, equipped with a sensor APS-C.

New versions will be offered to devices with a bayonet mount Canon EF-S and Nikon F (DX). The design provides for 16 elements in the groups 11, including elements of low-dispersion (LD, Low Dispersion) and aspherical lenses.
The apparatus is equipped with a proprietary system of stabilization VC (Vibration Compensation). Applied HLD motor (High / Low Torque Modulated Drive Motor): thanks to the extraordinary capacity and stability it is able to smoothly operate the autofocus mechanism comprising a large focussing lenses.
In addition, the system is to provide an electromagnetic diaphragm: because the petals are driven and controlled by a motor electronic pulses, increased iris control accuracy.
