As reported by the blog Sammobile, Samsung has started rolling out the June security update for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. Alone in the Android system should be closed 96 gaps and 23 other vulnerabilities are removed on Galaxy devices.

For the time being, the update will start in Canada. The update with build number G930W8VLS2BQF1 is intended for the Galaxy S7 and the file G935W8VLS2BQF1 for the Edge model.

Samsung does not provide accurate information about which vulnerabilities are closed. As a rule, every smartphone owner receives an alert as soon as the update is available.

Because the update is done in stages, not all devices are operated at the same time. It could therefore pass a few weeks before German owners of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge receive a corresponding notification. You can manually check whether new updates are pending in the menu “Settings – Via the device update”. A full battery and a stable WLAN connection should be used to download.
