Some time ago WhatsApp has integrated a function that allows you to send files to your contacts. Through the app messaging it is therefore possible to exchange content in doc format, cvs, pdf, txt, xls while other types are currently not supported. The most widely used chat team in the world is working to extend the capabilities of this feature and eliminate the need to convert files through a special external app.
WABetaInfo states that WhatsApp is already testing the tool that will allow you to send any file type and a few tweets of the various countries beta testers confirm that indeed the trial is already underway and is making good progress. The new function can also improve sharing photos and videos, which will no longer be compressed before they are shipped. According to WABetaInfo, the limit for iOS has been fixed at 128 MB while for Android is 100 MB. For the desktop version, the threshold is 64 MB.
With the next update of WhatsApp, who has decided to move all your data on Facebook’s servers, will also come other news. First it has been made more intuitive sharing photos from the camera roll. In addition, the app will give us five minutes of time to decide whether to delete a message after it was sent.
