Instagram is undoubtedly one of the most popular and used social networks, the result of innovative ideas and ideas made by other great successes; An example is Instagram Stories, very similar to the Snapchat service, which allows you to share a photo or video for a limited time. Today Instagram has announced that Stories has exceeded 250 million daily active users, and is getting ready to enrich with a new feature.
Instagram Stories had already passed the master (read Snapchat) last April, touching 200 million active users every day; Growth is therefore continuous, synonymous with a service that likes and seems to work well.
That’s why Instagram is pushing even more on Stories, introducing a new feature of live videos: after the live broadcast, it will be possible to share the video on Stories, where it will remain visible for 24 hours through a dedicated button; To alert your followers to the live sharing will be added a small icon dedicated to your icon on Stories, as you can see in the image above.
The novelty follows the ability to save live video that was released a few months ago into the phone’s memory.
The announcement was made by Carolyn Everson, Facebook’s global head of sales, who also added prospects for future expansion of Stories on other platforms.
