For a while Honor has been praising the qualities of his next model, but the question of price remains unknown. Pre-orders prompt us.
With its inspired design and high-end performance, the Honor 9 could well be a pretty good place on the smartphone segment at good value for money. This is in any case what one can expect when one sees the quality of the appliances produced by the subsidiary of Huawei in recent years.
But the competition is fierce, and the selling price is therefore a crucial element of the success of the product. As we explained to you recently, the beautiful Unibody hull of the Honor 9 contains a SoC Kirin 960, 4 or 6 GB of RAM depending on the version (4 GB for France), 64 GB or 128 GB of storage expandable via MicroSD. So here we have a cousin of the Huawei P10, but at what rate?
The pre-orders already seem to have started in Finland, and allow us to know more. The version equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage is proposed at 499 euros, while the higher version is displayed at 599 euros. We can therefore legitimately say that French prices will be similar to those of this northern European country, where the brand is visibly highly appreciated.
If this is indeed the case, Honor would have chosen a positioning voluntarily more expensive, which is similar to that of Honor 8 Pro. You can always expect a price change, but it seems unlikely. But an ODR at launch is always possible.
