JDI launched displays Full Active for fully frameless smartphones

The company Japan Display Inc. (JDI) announced the launch of mass production of advanced displays Full Active for mobile devices – smartphones and PHABLET.

Full Active Screen characterized by the narrow limits on all four sides. This lets you create gadgets that display occupies almost the entire area of ​​the front surface.

When creating panels Full Active new technology module layout and high density mounting have been used. It is possible to reduce the width of the bottom of the frame, making it virtually the same as with the other three sides.

In addition, according to the use of Pixel Eyes technology is responsible for recognizing touches: this system makes it possible to give commands gloved hands and with wet fingers.

The company Japan Display has mastered the production of panels Full Active measuring 6 inches on the diagonal. The resolution is 2160 × 1080 pixels, aspect ratio – 18: 9.

In addition, previously demonstrated a 5.5-inch screen Full Active format Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels).
