Vodafone Italia challenges young students, startupers and professionals with passion for IT, digital design and digital marketing. On July 3 and 4, “My Vodafone Hack” will be the third edition of the 24-hour digital marathon dedicated to the app My Vodafone that will be held in Milan at Vodafone Village.
During hackathon, participants will have to present an innovative proposal to develop a new feature of the My Vodafone app, the smartphone and tablet application dedicated to Vodafone Customer Service, to keep customers up to date on all the information and services available for the Own plan and all new offers. The goal is to work on the potential uses of the App in mobility and leisure, improving its experience and making it even more complete and addictive.
The initiative stems from Vodafone’s vision of crowdsourcing and co-creation. After the success of the first two editions, Vodafone Italia decided to challenge the creativity of young people again, giving them the opportunity to meet and collaborate with one of the major telecommunications players. During the marathon, participants will take part in various activities and will also have the opportunity to be followed by a major mentor and listening to inspirational speech.
“My Vodafone Hack” is open to all young people under 30 with a great passion for the digital world, who preferably have engineering, computer, digital design, marketing and / or management knowledge.
Subscriptions, either individual or group, are open until June 30 at the link: voda.it/hack_registration. The three winning projects will be awarded with Huawei’s top smartphone smartphones.
3 interactions on 4 of the total monthly interactions with customers are through digital channels and half of these are done by the My Vodafone app and m-site. With over 80 million visits per month and customer access every 3 days, the My Vodafone app is the leading Vodafone Italia service channel, used by 80% of smart customers.
