Tesla Model X crossover received the highest safety assessment

The company Tesla has another reason to be proud of their achievements. National Directorate of traffic safety on US highways (National Highway Transportation Safety Administration, NHTSA) awarded Tesla Model X crossover, the highest rating: 5 stars for each test category. This makes the Model X safest at the moment the vehicle in the SUV segment on the roads.

Each version of the Model X – 60D, 75D, 90D, P90D and 100D – perfectly proved itself in tests for resistance to frontal impact, side impact, roll-over and in total safety.

NHTSA experts and failed to overturn the Model X in the dynamic tests. According to the NHTSA estimates that the probability of rollover electric vehicle in case of an accident is only 9.3%.
