Wolfenstein, The Evil Within, Dishonored, Fallout, and Doom: Bethesda has something to announce on the E3 2017 for almost all major brands. Not everyone who plays for the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and the PC is a surprise or even a new one.
Dishonored: The Death of the Outsider
The possibility of new content for Dishonored 2 (test) had never categorically excluded Arcane and Bethesda. Further stories in the “Whalepunk” universe are realized in the expansion “The Death of the Outsider”, which does not require the possession of Dishonored 1 or Dishonored 2.
The main focus of the story is not Corvo Attano or Emily Caldwin but Megan Foster, who appears in Dishonored 2 as captain, and Assassine Daud, the fans of the series already known from the DLC The knife of Dunwall. In the new narrative both revenge wants to take on the outsider who has manipulated the events in the Empire for hundreds of years.
To this end, illegal boxing battles are to be made, the sisters of the order of the Oracle, the immortal stone rings and the blind gang are overwhelmed. In addition, Bethesda also presents a robbery mission, new adversaries, and a deeper look into the history of their universe. The death of the outsider is scheduled for September 15, 2017.
The Evil Within 2
The Evil Within (Evil Within) is also being developed by the resident Evil inventor Shinji Mikami. The horror game is supposed to alternate the narrow, claustrophobic surroundings with more open and less linear areas, which are to leave space for exploration. Despite this change, Bethesda emphasizes that the original character remains unchanged: it is still a “survival horror game”.
Sebastian Castellanos, hero of the first part, is now roaming the city union in search of his daughter. The past years, however, have not passed without a trace; After escaping from the dream world, Castellanos lands at the bottom of society until he is hired by his former colleague Julie Kidman for another trip into a Stem world – but now with the possibility to talk to the outside world with a communicator. At the same time, the device is to serve as a guide and guide to raw materials, secondary tasks and additional information. The game will be released on October 13, 2017.
Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus
The continuation of Wolfenstein: The New Order (Test) had been an open secret since the E3 last year. New Colossus continues the narrative, but shifts the scene to a new continent: Resistance veteran BJ Blazkowicz, after the fight against Generalstrasse, has agreed on a reconvalescence phase in the America of 1961, which also from the “Regime”, which in the German version the Third Reich is replaced, subjugated.
It can be fought from “postnuclear Manhattan to the small town of Roswell” and “across the marshes and boulevards of New Orleans and beyond”. Blazkowicz is accompanied by new and old companions as well as a number of new weapons. These include a hatchet, the laser power station and the diesel power plant, a kind of grenade launchers, each of which can be upgraded. The publication is scheduled for 27 October 2017. Like the predecessor, uncut versions of The New Colossus are expected to be geo-locked and not to be activated and launched in Germany.
Smaller news is available for Quake Champions. The multiplayer shooter is now permanently running a closed beta phase, the servers are available permanently and not only for limited periods of time. Bethesda stressed to permanently add more players to the circle of the elect. Registration is also possible via the Bethesda homepage.
In addition, the shooter was supplemented by another hero, BJ Blazkowicz from Wolfenstein, who can use two weapons at the same time. In addition, the beta is expanded with three additional cards, two of which are for duel mode, and a twitch integration, which allows the viewing of streams from the game. In addition, there is a new viewer mode, rule changes and balancing updates. GameBlocks is now available for cheaters. The innovations can prove their worth at the Quake World Championships in June, whose finals will be played on this year’s QuakeCon.
Fallout 4 VR
There were further details on the Fallout 4 VR. The virtual reality version of the rolling game, developed for the HTC Vive, will be equipped with “adapted combat, manufacturing and building systems [n]” as well as a VATS adaptation and should enable not less than the complete version of Fallout 4 from the Ego-perspective of virtual reality.
Also developed for VR headsets is Doom VFR. This is, however, not a VR version of Do
