Niantic wants to celebrate the arrival of summer in the Northern and Southern Hemisphere in the Southern Hemisphere within Pokémon GO with a special event called Fire and Ice, which we have already talked about a few days ago.
Today, however, we have more details about the times and the way we do it thanks to a new Niantic press release, so we are ready to provide you with more information. So, here’s what the event will consist of:
From 13:00 PDT on June 13, at 13:00 PDT on June 20, 2017, Worldwide Coaches will find more Charmander, Cyndaquil, Growlithe, Houndour, Ponyta, Swinub, Vulpix, and their Evolutions. Keep an eye on Sneasel, Magmar, Cloyster, and other Pokémon of Fire and Ice.
As if that was not enough, there will be extra experience points for all Poké Ball launches, egg hatching will give you more experience points and the Fortunuova will be discounted by 50%. A nice way to celebrate, do not you think?
