The Pokémon Company and Niantic did not pull back and so they announced the big update for Pokémon GO, which we’ve talked so much over the last few weeks.
The update, the two companies know through a press release, will be released to celebrate the first year of Pokémon GO and, above all, to celebrate the 750 million global downloads since its launch.
But there will be only new features because we will also launch several themed events. It will start on June 13, when the Solstice event will start: for this occasion, it will be easier to meet fire and ice-type Pokémon, there will be bonus experience with the launch of the Poké Ball and there will be a discount on the purchase of Eggs Fortunate .
Soon after, the expected update will be released through the Play Store and new features will be introduced, among which we will find some focus groups that will give you new and fun ways to play.
In order to support the event load and to integrate the new features, from June 16th, the gyms will be temporarily deactivated. It is not specified, unfortunately, when they will be reactivated.
The novelties, however, do not end there. During the summer, two real events will take place in the cities of Chicago and Yokohama, so in the USA and Japan. No event, for now, is foreseen for Italy. Satisfied?
