It is reported that the system established by Drive Electro. The station has a relatively small size. It can connect to AC or DC power (e.g., a trolleybus) and produce charging elektrobusa automatically without a driver.

The station will be used to recharge the bus KAMAZ-Drive Electro second-generation batteries, which began transporting guests in March 2017, the Skolkovo Innovation Center of the year. Until now, the total charge of the battery of the car from the on-board charger needed three hours power reserve at the same time was 52 km. With the advent of ultra-fast charging station replenishment of energy spent on the route between end stops, takes only 6 minutes. As a result, electric bus can pass more than 300 km per day.

Note that the second generation elektrobusa KAMAZ-Drive Electro equipped with advanced lithium-titanate battery. The advantage of such cells is that they are the only batteries recharged and successfully operated at low temperatures – up to minus 45 degrees Celsius. The battery is rated at least for 20 000 full charge / discharge cycles, which is more than 15 years of intensive use. The advantages of lithium-titanate battery can be attributed the fact that they can be quickly charged without the loss of his life.
