Owners of the former flagship killer OnePlus 2 have been waiting very long for an update. Apparently, the start-up company OnePLus has decided not to provide further updates for the OnePlus 2.

OnePlus does not keep his promise

Last year, OnePlus made the promise to provide Android 7.0 Nougat for the OnePlus 2. Does OnePlus not keep this promise? According to a user of the XDA-Developers-Forum, a mail shows that no further updates are executed. The mail is said to come from the OnePlus customer service. A support staff reported that the OnePlus 2 does not provide an update to Android nougat. One reason for this behavior is not mentioned.

For the still current OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T was announced a few days ago by the manufacturer itself via Twitter that these models will receive Android O as soon as Google has finished this version. The upcoming OnePlus 5 is expected on June 15th and probably has been preinstalled Android 7.0.
