Android apps available for four new Chromebooks

Most Chromebooks lack support for Android apps, but fortunately, in more than 80 devices will be included in the near future.

Among the models that have just entered our market with the Play Store already installed, we find the Acer Chromebook Spin 11 (R751T), announced in January but not yet available for purchase, which will support Android applications already out of the box.

Next we find the HP x360 11 G1 EE Chromebook, which comes with four variants for purchase, but all with a Celeron N3350 CPU and display protected by a Gorilla Glass 3. Android device support for this device is now restricted to the Chrome OS Beta channel .
The latest two devices come from Lenovo, and are ThinkPad 11E and the “2 in 1” Thinkpad 11e Yoga: even in these devices managed by Celeron N3450 processors and equipped with 11.6-inch screens, access to the Play Store is temporarily Limited to the Beta channel.
