ZTE Nubia Z17 with 8 GB RAM – With the Nubia Z17, the ZTE subsidiary Nubia has introduced a new smartphone. Onboard is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 8 gigabytes of RAM. The Nubia Z17 is the first mobile device to handle the quick charge standard QuickCharge 4+. A date for Germany is not known.

With 8 gigabytes of memory, the new ZTE Nubia Z17 is among the first smartphones in the world to use this RAM size. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with up to 2.45 gigahertz clock rate for eight cores.
Another feature of the Nubia Z17 is a side-to-edge display with a diagonal of 5.5 inches and a resolution of 1080p (Full-HD). The high-quality housing is made of glass and metal.
Technical specifications of the Nubia Z17
The ZTE Nubia Z17 is protected against penetrating water by IP67 certification. The 3,200 mAh strong energy dispenser can be loaded from Qualcomm via QuickCharge 4+ – for the first time on current smartphones. Up to 50 percent capacity should be achieved within 25 minutes. Pre-installed Android 7.1.1 Nougat including user interface Nubia UI 5.0.
On the back is the dual camera with 23 megapixels. The second lens allows double optical zoom. The camera features an f / 2.0 aperture for 23 megapixels and an f / 1.8 aperture for 12 megapixels. Phase comparison focus and dual-pixel technology are further features of the main camera. Thanks to the Dolby Atmos profile, optimum sound is achieved. The Nubia Z17 with 8 GB of memory and 128 gigabytes of flash memory costs 530 euros. A likewise planned variant with “only” 6 gigabytes of RAM suggests with about 450 euros. On the 6th of June the sale starts in the home country of China.
