Allo di Google introduce i selfie clip

At the same time, the Google Duo messenger app can not boast the same popularity as WhatsApp and Telegram, but is trying to carve out its space in mobile messaging with new features. In recent weeks, the app has introduced several new features and today it has also become possible to turn a simple selfie into a GIF. The announcement came via Twitter from Amit Fulay, who heads the Allo development team.

Google wanted to go beyond emoji, stickers and simple GIFs, allowing its users to become an animated image. Allo’s selfie clip feature allows you to create GIFs from a self-timer. To do this, simply click on the button and record a short video. The app will then play the movie in loop creating an animated image that can then be sent to friends. The feature remembers somehow the video messaging introduced by Telegram a few days ago, but the tools to achieve them are different. The latest update of Allo, which still struggles to conquer users, is already available for iOS and Android.
