OnePlus 5: Tweet displays colors, fingerprint sensor on front

OnePlus 5 FarbenOnePlus 5 turns color – Until now, the OnePlus startup company had opted for unobtrusive colors for its OnePlus models. This could be different for the OnePlus 5. In a tweet, OnePlus announces four different colors for the OnePlus 5. The fingerprint sensor remains on the front.

OnePlus 5 is colored

The successor to OnePlus 3T, OnePlus 5, is expected this summer. So far, all models from the startup company were not exactly colorful. This should change with the OnePlus 5 however.

On Twitter, OnePlus has posted a picture that shows the OnePlus in several color variants. The tweet comment (What 5hould the color of your next phone be?) Ask his followers what colors the next OnePlus model should have. The “5” in the article replaces an “S”, so it should be the OnePlus 5.

Fingerprint sensor remains on the front

The picture published on Twitter shows four color variations. Some of the colors are reminiscent of older OnePlus models, others are extravagant. In Black, the OnePlus 3T was already available as a Limited version, in red the devices were not officially offered.

For a long time it was puzzled, where the fingerprint sensor is placed in the new OnePlus 5. According to a report by GizmoChina, Pete Lau, co-founder of OnePlus, has now commented on the many questions. Pete Lau replied in the social network Weibo that the fingerprint sensor on the front is integrated, as well as with all previously released OnePlus models. The technical details so far the manufacturer does not price. It is currently assumed that the OnePlus 5 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. At least 6 gigabytes of memory should be on board, maybe a special version with 8 GB of RAM. A release is planned this summer.
