The Xperia XZ Premium is Sony’s most luxurious smartphone but the details surrounding its marketing were blurred. The brand set the record straight.
It’s been a while since the Xperia XZ Premium is talking about it. Last February, he had marked the spirits by presenting himself as the first smartphone with a 4K screen and a Snapdragon 835. If it is still true for the slab, it is no longer for the SoC since the HTC U11 (which owns it too) will be released on June 1st.
The expectation should not be too long for fans of the Japanese firm since the Xperia XZ Premium is expected by June 9. But at 799 euros, it will be one of the Android smartphones (here Nougat) the most expensive market. So it will have to face the Galaxy S8, which costs ten euros more.
Its 4K (with HDR support) and Snapdragon 835, but also 4G LTE compatibility at 1 Gbps, 3230 mAh battery and IP68 (waterproof) certification. On the photo side, we will be entitled to an Exmor RS sensor of 19 megapixels. Sony announces that it will be able to record up to 960 images / second. We can therefore expect high-quality images, hoping that the software part is at (very high) level.
