Google Assistant is finally available in French (but only on Allo for the moment)

It was time. Some nine months after its release in English only on the application of Google Allo, Google Assistant has finally been located in French. The opportunity to finally test the virtual assistant of Google.

“Tell wesh (or hello) to the Google Wizard … In French! That’s it, Google has just launched Google Assistant in French. For now, Google’s virtual assistant is only available on a single application: Google Allo, its instant messaging launched last September.

Google Assistant is, as its name suggests, a wizard capable of answering a few basic user requests. It is also possible to ask him the results of the last matches of Ligue 1, that the time will do tomorrow or ask where is the nearest pizzeria. If the answers are not always relevant (Google Assistant does not know who was elected last Sunday), Google Allo has at least the merit of recognizing very well the words of the user.

Google Allo is available on Android (and also on iOS) and is downloaded free on the Play Store.
