A member of the social network Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter, has published what appears to be two sketches of the OnePlus 5 design. We know a little more about the design of the device, but also about the photo part of the phone .
According to the Weibo user, this is what the OnePlus 5 would look like. These two sketches seem to be preparations for the design of the future OnePlus smartphone. They are interesting in more ways than one. First of all because they allow us to glimpse what the device will look like. The OnePlus 5 should therefore benefit from a rounded shell with the top covered with ceramic. Also on the back of the phone is a dual photo sensor. Previous rumors already evoked this module with two sensors.
A double photo sensor on the front?
The second sketch allows to see the facade of the phone. Besides very thin screens borders – but this is the fashion, after all – we can see a dual photo sensor on the front. We do not know their usefulness at the moment, but it could also be to create a Bokeh effect for the portrait mode and to enlarge the photo field, as Oppo does with its recent F3 Plus.
The rest of the design is rather classic. OnePlus should once again incorporate a notification slider on the left slice. On the lower slice are a Type-C USB port, a jack port and a single speaker.
An announcement that should not wait too long
OnePlus promised, OnePlus 5 will be launched “during the summer”. His announcement should not be long, it is only a matter of weeks. As for its data sheet, it has already leaked several times in recent days and looks promising with a Snapdragon 835 and 6 GB of RAM.
