Nokia 8 with dual camera – So far, HMD Global had already presented three Nokia smartphones. In addition to the Nokia 3, 5 and Nokia 6, a new edition of the Nokia 3310 Cult Handy was presented earlier this year. A short commercial video now shows probably the longer suspected top smartphone Nokia 8.
Nokia 8 in the promotional clip?
HMD Global, the licensing partner of the Finnish manufacturer Nokia, had already presented three new Nokia models. At this year’s Mobile World Congress were shown the middle class smartphones, Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. In addition, there is a new edition of the Nokia 3310, which will soon also start trading here.
However, other Nokia smartphones were announced for this year, including at least a high-end device. It is assumed a Nokia 8 with top equipment. A Nokia advertising video might show the Nokia 8 with dual camera.
Dual camera in the Nokia 8
Information about the Nokia 8 has been circulating for months. It is assumed a top device, which possibly again a camera from Carl Zeiss received. On the video platform Vimeo is now a short advertising clip dipped. According to reports the photographer George Chevalier Lewis is supposed to be responsible for the clip. Lewis had previously worked in the Nokia advertising department before the takeover by Microsoft. Among other things, he was also the creative director for a promo- ideo of the Nokia 3310 (2017). Lewis is currently reporting on his own website that the devices shown in the Teaservideo are still under development. Compared to final devices, the design is not yet final.
The advertising clip “Nokia Reveal Film” shows three already presented smartphones and another with dual camera. It could be the Nokia 8. The backside of the Nokia 5 and 6, the fingerprint sensor is located on the front under the screen. According to previous reports, this device should have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset on board, but currently “only” is the weaker Snapdragon 660 talk. Further technical details about the Nokia 8 are so far only speculation. GizmoChina had alleged in March allgedly from suppliers that the alleged Nokia 8 will have a metal housing and a QHD display.
