Android Wear 2.0: Another seven smartwatches receive update

Google is continuing to distribute the Wearable operating system Android Wear 2.0 on all supporting smartwatches. If only three clocks were taken into account at the start, a further seven of a total of 18 smartwatch models are planned.

In any case, it was questionable in the course of the first distribution why Google took into account the Fossil Q Founder, but the mechanically identical models Fossil Q Marshal, Fossil Q Wander and Michael Kors Access Smartwatches out. In addition to the Polar M600 and the Nixon the Mission are now following in the second distribution phase. As a computerbase reader has added to the editorship, the LG Watch R and LG Watch Urbane are now also updated with the new update on Android Wear 2.0. However, Google does not list the LG models in its distribution plan yet. Thus, ten of 18 Smartwatch models are currently supplied with the update. The update can be made in the setup menu.

  • Asus ZenWatch 2
  • Asus ZenWatch 3
  • Casio Smart Outdoor Watch
  • Casio PRO TREK Smart
