Three weeks after the market launch of the glass smartphones U Play and U Ultra, HTC has provided the in-house digital assistant Sense Companion in the Play Store. Both smartphones had been advertised in the run-up, but the software was not finished in time.
The App Sense Companion can be found on both smartphones in the Play Store under “My Apps”.
According to HTC the Sense Companion learns from the usage behavior of the user and can help in everyday life. “He suggests that you get warmer and take you to work sooner if snowfall is predicted. Or he reminds you to take a Power Bank on longer journeys. He even proposes you a restaurant, if you are traveling over the weekend and reserving a table. The best thing about it is that he is developing and getting to know you better and better over the course of time. “Originally, the software was to be released for market launch on 20 February.
The test of the HTC U Play had ComputerBase still without the app make and had therefore for this reason against an early test of the HTC U Ultra decided.
