A display and Snapdragon 835
According to rumors so far, the still nameless smartphone is the new top model of the recently launched U-series, which is characterized by a large-area use of glass for the case. Unlike the U Ultra, however, the new model is no longer equipped with a second display for status messages and links. The speech is so far from a 5.5 inch screen.
After the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 (test) for the U Ultra was not yet available, it is to create the high-end SoC but in the upcoming HTC flagship. More detailed information on further equipment is not yet available apart from the new gesture control.

The main feature of the smartphone is supposed to be a pressure-sensitive frame, which HTC briefly shows in a five-seconded teaser on Twitter. Thus, the frame of the phone can be pressed to initiate various actions on the device. In the short video, the smartphone is pressed in the lower half on both sides with a total of four fingers to trigger an unknown command.
